My Book Review

—->”It was her… always her.”

I am OBSESSED with A.M. Johnson’s words, its just poetry and emotional and heart warming books that I am enamored with her characters. Breakaway is my first introduction to a hockey romance and now I am hooked! I looked at tickets to go to a hockey game and even bought my child an ice hockey shirt! So thank you A.M. Johnson for introducing me to the world of ice hockey and a couple certain easy on the eyes professional players!

Breakaway hooks you in with Stevie & Mark’s instant connection, but not in the way that you would think. I enjoyed having Stevie being older than Mark and her numbers crunching career. If you love a great sports romance and want to learn about ice hockey definitely pick up this book!

I am used to A.M. Johnson giving us broken characters looking for the sunlight through their dark clouds and here you find a lighter, steamy, good romance that gives you all the feels. Hopefully we get at least a Hat Trick out of her with possible three books in a Hockey Romance series… Please???
