If you read as much as me you definitely should take advantage of this offer for a Kindle Paperwhite! I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading on my Kindle Paperwhite. I bought the white version back in February for $99 on sale and for Prime Day it is currently on sale
for $89! It’s a $30 savings from the original price of $119.
I was getting headaches from reading on my iPad and have seen a drastic improvement from reading on my Kindle. I love that I can read outside with it without a sun glare. I can also take pictures at the beach and the book cover shows up!
If you are purchasing the Kindle, you MUST buy the Warranty & Accident Protection! I promise it is worth every penny of the $12.99 that you will spend. I accidentally dropped my brand new Kindle Paperwhite in the bathtub (not my brightest moment!) and Amazon replaced it brand new for free! It was super easy calling the customer service line and I had a new one in my hands less than two days later! It was easier than replacing an iPhone. I believe that you can only have two replacements for the warranty.
If your buying a new Kindle for the first time there are several options you might not be aware of:
- It comes with a cord adapter that I just plug into my iPhone plug adapter unless you want an extra cord adapter I suggest saving the $19.99
- Its much cheaper buying a Kindle with the ‘Special Offers’ and the only advertisements are on the sleep screen for new books.
- Kindle Unlimited is a fave of mine (see post below)

KINDLE UNLIMITED
Prime Day has a fabulous discount for Kindle Unlimited! I have been a member of Kindle Unlimited since December 2016 (my account says this date, but I swear I have had it much longer…) and LOVE this service! My husband receives our Amazon purchases emails (I need to switch this one day!) and would always comment about how much I was reading, then he would receive emails for books that I have searches ‘Hot Daddy Romance’ or ‘Check out these Billionaire Romance Novels’ hahahaha!!!! So adding the Kindle Unlimited option it helped lesson the frequency of Amazon book emails that he received and it ‘appears’ that I do not buy as much books anymore…
Over my subscription I have seen the catalog of authors expand and I think it will only get better! Normally the subscription is $9.99 per month, so if you read at least three e-books per month at $3.99 then it already pays for itself.

The Amazon Echo is on sale for 50% off at 89.99 (normally at $179.99) for the larger size. I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband and LOVE It! I thought at first it was a waste of money, but now it has become a household staple!
My kids and I have constant dance parties with Alexa playing their favorite songs on repeat. No more having to rewind a song on the CD player, etc. Now I just say “Alexa, repeat” and voila!
